Elon Musk unveils the Cybercab and Robovan at Tesla’s We, Robot event

Tesla’s We, Robot event saw the long-awaited reveal of the Cybercab. The self-driving robotaxi looks like a smaller, sleeker, two-seater Cybertruck. Musk said he expects that Cybercabs will be in production by 2026 or “before 2027” and will cost less than $30,000. But, remember Musk has not always followed through on his bold predictions.

The event also included a surprise reveal — a prototype of Tesla’s Robovan. The Robovan will be an electric, autonomous vehicle designed for transporting people and goods around high density areas. According to Musk, the Robovan will be able to carry up to 20 people at a time. No pricing information or details about a launch date have been released thus far.
