The pursuit of making CHAMPIONS
Working to develop both mental and physical skills, Team A.S Judo athletes will train all year-round to perfect their abilities within the sport of Judo by attending practices and tournaments locally, nationally and internationally. Ultimately, our aim is to train Team A.S Judo athletes to one day be serious contenders to represent Great Britain.
Monthly squad training
A.S Judo athletes will also participate in monthly squad training sessions that will be led by Ex GB Champion and Head coach Alan Scott who will provide extra tips and tuition in readiness for competition Judo. Sessions are held once a month on a Sunday.

Becoming a Team A.S Judo Athlete
Team A.S Judo athletes will be required to attend a min of 3 sessions per week as well as the monthly competition squad session. And Compete in a min of 1 competition per month. Athletes should be aware that their sessions will be running throughout the year and a high record of attendance is required to being part of this elite group. They will be taught advance techniques used by Head Coach, Alan Scott throughout his competitive Judo career to prepare them for the competitions ahead and to speed their development as a Judoka. If a student fails to attend training frequently and without good reason, they will be dropped from the squad as places will be limited and at a premium.

– One-off fee of £45 is required to join, which gives the student a personalised judo suit.
– We require a minimum of 2 x weeks notice to cancel memberships and that if a payment falls within this period it will still be taken before the membership is cancelled.

Team A.S. Judo is an elite provider. The competition squad will go to professional tournaments representing Team A.S Judo.
